Rose Gong Monier is a professional designer with over 20 years experience in the home furnishings industry.

Rose holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design. While attending classes there, she came to the attention of a fledgling home furnishings company. Upon graduation, Rose accepted a design position at Ralph Lauren Home Collection. The company quickly became a household name, synonymous with lifestyle and luxury. While at Ralph Lauren, Rose affected the launch of their tabletop division with a Top Ten US selling bridal pattern and is the recipient of two United States design patents for her designs in flatware.

She has received high praise for both her creativity and design ability from the manufacturing sector which included Henredon, Waterford / Wedgwood, Reed & Barton and Karastan where she was instrumental in the design and development of signature lifestyle concepts and products for the home. In addition, Rose was directly responsible for the creation of the Polo Sport men’s fragrance bottle and packaging design.

Rose’s strength lies her creative abilities to design and facilitate a vision that is always fashionable, expressive and distinctive to a unique brand or concept.

In her spare time, she has taught art and design to children and young adults. She has guided and mentored college bound high school students in the preparation of their art portfolios for college admission review with a 100% success rate.

Recently returned to school, Rose has enhanced her education and broadened her skill set to be digital.
